Water Tips and Information

EVERY System in our body depends on water! Water helps aid fat loss, it is the best treatment for water retention, it helps keep you "regular", and it helps combat dehydration.

So how much water should you be drinking? That depends a lot on every person's needs. Best estimate to go by is divide your current weight in half and that is how many OUNCES you NEED. In addition, for every 20 minutes of exercise add 10 ounces and 8 ounces of coffee, tea, or soda equals an additional 8 ounces of water.

Tips for getting in all your water: You can drink it hot, especially in the winter, get a nice reusable water bottle and keep it with you at all times, use a straw, add fresh lemon and orange slices or even mint, drink a glass of 8 ounces of water first thing in the morning, try out sparkling water.
