ENCOURAGE A HEALTHY FUTURE℠

Healthy Start

"Optimal Health" carries with it the expectation of proper nutrition, not just for adults, but for kiddos too!   It is unreasonable to assume you can be healthy and/or fit without providing proper foundations of fuel for the body.  Nutrition plays a critical role in your health.  Teaching the fundamentals of proper nutrition can start at any age.  Allowing children to be involved in grocery shopping, menu planning, and cooking are all ways to start the process of teaching proper nutrition.

Proper nutrition starts with the same fundamentals as it does for adults by ensuring children get the right amounts of vitamins, minerals, protein, fat, and carbohydrates, the only difference is that children need lower amounts based on age.
